Christ’s Love Vineyard Opens the Doors to Their New Home

This summer, Christ’s Love Vineyard in Pocatello, Idaho, led by Pastors Kimberly and Dustin Andrew, entered a new season of growth and opportunity as they moved into a historic building that had stood for 121 years as the First Congregational United Church of Christ.

The church family, now nearly 100 strong and filled with young families, had outgrown their previous home at the old Bengal Hut. After fervent prayer, Dustin, who is a contractor, felt prompted to check MLS listings. The historic church building appeared first. And God made the way. The Andrews and their congregation have been hard at work restoring and preparing the building for ministry. In the process, they have uncovered treasures from the church’s history, including old photographs, hymnals, and even an 1845 Bible, and have invited the community to reclaim any items that belong to them. They are committed to preserving the building’s beauty while creating space for connection, worship, and outreach.

A Place for the Community

Christ’s Love Vineyard is opening its doors not only for Sunday gatherings but also for weddings, celebrations, and community events. They plan to welcome neighbors in through the First Friday Art Walk, offer the historic organ and piano for anyone to play, and provide a place for fellowship after baptisms by ringing the bell and sharing a meal together.

The move into this historic building is more than a relocation. It is a picture of God’s provision, the fruit of prayer, and the start of a new chapter in Pocatello. We celebrate with Pastors Kimberly and Dustin and the Christ’s Love Vineyard family as they step forward in faith, ready to serve their city and share the love of Jesus in their new home.
